GR11 Stage 4 - Collado de Urquiaga to Burguete

OK, you have got your walking-legs by now and are getting good at following the GR11 waymarks, so things now start getting a bit more serious. The route from Collado de Urquiaga takes you over two passes, Collado Adatun and Collado Arbilleta, descending in between to the refugio Casa Pablo. There is no clearly defined path down from Adatun and the subsequent climb up from the refugio is also not well-marked so care must be taken in navigation. In fine weather there are not too many problems because you can see where you are aiming for; however if it is misty or wet be very careful not to lose you way or slip on the steep grassy slopes. After Arbilleta you drop down through the beech forest to reach the grassy farmland before Burguete, where you join the Camino de Santiago for the last 2km into the village.
