Munro-bagging along Glen Markie; follow a well-maintained, four-wheel-drive track into the glen before climbing up through an attractive corrie to reach a summit with outstanding views across the Monadhliath and Strath Mashie.

As a river fording is a possibility, then good hill-walking footwear is essential. Do not attempt the ford unless you are comfortable to do so, there is an alternative crossing about a mile further on,;do not compromise your safety or that of anyone in your party. As always in the high mountains, ensure that you have the navigational and survival skills and appropriate equipment to traverse pathless high terrain in low visibility, if required.
