This is only a short walk that takes you around the Suffolk village of Glemsford. Starting off at the parish church it heads through fields to Monks Hall, possibly dating from as early as the 15th Century. The route leads past the old silk mill and across open fields to a field of historical significance.

Just as you re-enter the village on the right is possibly the site of a Medieval College of Secular Priests, although no visible remains exist. The route leads past Peverells, a beautiful black and white timber-framed house dating to the 15th Century, before heading along tracks and paths back to the church.
