The walk starts on a path along Glen Catacol which gradually climbs by the side of the burn and then more steeply, before leaving the track to access the summit of Beinn Tarsuinn. There are three Beinn Tarsuinn mountains or hills on Arran and the nearest to the one we climb is a mere 4.5km away! There is always a good chance of seeing red deer on walks in Arran.
