This is a linear walk requiring transport at both ends. The walk begins at the car park in Glen Doll and finishes 5km down Glen Clova at the Clova Hotel. Forestry roads give an easy start but once across the White Water the route climbs out of Glen Doll, following the quite steep Kilbo Path to the ridge between Glen Clova and Glen Prosen. The route then turns south-east and follows the undulating ridge across Driesh (a Munro), Hill of Strone and finally to Cairn Inks. The ridge walk gives a great bird's-eye view of Glen Clova, a classic U-shaped glaciated valley with its rugged corries, meandering river and moraines. From Cairn Inks the route descends steeply over the grass-covered hillside to finish at the Clova Hotel on the glen road.
