From the bus stop at the String Road, cross at the cemetery and walk up the minor road to Glen Rosa. Follow this road round to the campsite at Glen Rosa; here the road changes to an estate road and continues up the glen for about a mile and a half to a substantial footbridge over the burn. If you look to your left you will see an impressive waterfall. After crossing the bridge you will come to a V-junction, bear right and go over a small hill to another footbridge. From here a narrow, stony path contours across the hillside. There are two boggy areas to cross before the path improves as it heads towards the gate at the forest. There is no visible path through the forest, but if you bear right to the edge of the forest the route becomes clear. When you emerge, go through a hole in the wall and then turn left uphill on a broad grass path for quite a distance. The picnic table is at the top and the path turns left to a bridge at a waterfall. Continue down to a junction with the Goat Fell path, turn right downhill to a four-way junction and go straight accross to Cladach Sawmill and the car park at the pub. From here cross the main road to a car park and out to the fishermen's path back to Brodick.
