This walk really is a walk of two halves. The outward leg to Spaldwick is easy to follow on wide grassy tracks and field margins. The return as described is a little more varied, but completes the loop. Those walkers wanting to amble to The George pub for a leisurely lunch, might be better returning by the outward route.

We just did this walk. Very enjoyable. Nice meal at the George. Weather was beautiful. Took us 4.6 hrs with the stop. We are in our 60s.
