Grassington and Hebden Gill

The walk starts along the tranquil Church Walk to the village of Hebden, then climbs above the gill for a grand march across the moor, with views all round. After visiting the remains of the extensive lead mining in the area, a gentle descent leads back to the start.

Very disappointed with our first walkingworld route. The paths were not clearly defined and we became totally disorintated after leaving Hebden and gave up, the only consolation was the fantastic lemon cake at the old school cafe as we retraced our steps through Hebden
