Visit two churches (or three if you combine this walk with our other starting from Great Waldingfield - 1876). There are picturesque cottages and good paths and tracks along the way. You also walk the runways of a disused World War Two airfield at one stage. There are excellent views from several points along the way.

Great route and very easy instructions to follow. I am constantly looking for new routes to run and this was perfect all the way. Made for a lovely day yesterday. Thank you.

A very nice walk, also made it 6.5 miles,A couple of updates needed. At waymark 2,after reaching the corner of the right hand field edge, ignore the marker posts pointing to the right.Turn left along the field edge, with a hedge on your right, soon becomes an enclosed path passing gardens on your left. This brings you to the tarmac path leading to The Heath. At waymark 5,after passing the church, there is now a kissing gate in the hedge which you go through to reach the track. At waymark 6,the plank bridge is on the left, which you do not cross to get to the road.At waymark 7,after turning into Clay Hall Rd,the footpath is to the right of a house called Genesis corner, not Puddledock Garden, which is further down.At waymark 8 after following 2 field edges, you do cross a track, but not a footbridge to reach the B1071.
