A walk across the moors from Gribdale north towards Guisborough's Hutton Low Cross woods; not only is this an enjoyable circular walk, but it is also steeped with history. The walk leads you to the site of some Iron Age hut circles, which can be found concealed by heather. The walk also leads you along part of the ancient road which leads north to Hutton Gate, where old boundary stones can be seen, denoting the boundary of Robert and Thomas Challoner, the two former owners of the estates.
