This is a circular path, almost entirely on tracks and paths and with one short section of road (with a pavement). There are no stiles on the route, but quite a few gates. Clearly the stretches across fields could be muddy in wet weather but by and large the terrain is flat and the paths very clear. There is one steady climb just after Hambleden to the top of a ridge and a slope down at the other side, so in wet weather some people might find a stick would be helpful.

I like to include a pub, a church and a manor-house in my walks. This one has two of each – and two ferries!

This is a decent walk with only one notable, but relatively short, gentle uphill climb. The directions were clear, it wasn't very muddy and overall, quite an enjoyable trip to the countryside. The 'free' car park at the start of the walk is now no longer free. £3 for 4 hours. There was no option for 3 hours. Payment by card or mobile.
