Harlaw - Harbour Hill - Capelaw - Glencorse - Logan Cottage - Den's Cleuch - Black Springs - Threepmuir

Avoiding the high hills produces an easier walk but does not sacrifice great views. The walk encompasses the rounded Harbour and Capelaw Hills and the reservoirs of Glencorse and Threepmuir, as well as the spring and marsh of Black Springs, often covered by floating flowers (amphibious bistort?) Moorland birds and game birds are readily seen and Den's Cleuch can produce a pleasant feeling of isolation. The walk requires enough effort to be a rewarding exercise without too much huff and puff!
