This is a short station to station walk using roadside paths and one enclosed path with great views over the North Sea coast.

Unfortunately, a couple of the residential roads are a bit unkept. This walk was a spur of the moment idea as I had to visit Harwich to see a friend, so I decided to plot the walk on the way. There are probably other routes you can take, but once you get to the seafront, the outlook changes, where you get excellent views, a chance to visit the pier, The Mayflower museum and a few refreshment outlets. It's a shame about the couple of untidy residential roads as the town itself is a lovely place with some interesting sites to be seen.

For refreshments you pass a few pubs in the town and a chip shop, also a pizza outlet by Dovercourt station, and McDonalds and Costa in Parkeston.

This would be an ideal stroll for someone that had already planned to visit the town.
