Starting at the station this circular walk takes in some beautiful parts of the Essex countryside. There is a lovely stretch along a canal and you get to choose whether or not to stay beside the canal for a longer period or to leave it to follow a different route and re-join the canal later. The rest of the walk involves field paths, residential roads, passing through a farmyard and a few country lanes. There are a few shops at the start of the walk if you require any refreshments to take with you on the walk.
