The pretty little market town of Hedon, just to the east of Hull is worth a visit if you're in the area, having a number of little independent or specialist shops. The church, with its impressive tower, forms the start of the walk, and is visible much of the way round.
From here the walk takes us out to the outskirts of Hedon, and around a series of footpaths, tracks and lanes that circle around the outside of much of the town. This includes the last stretch, which is along the disused Hull to Withernsea railway line.
