Starting from when we leave the car in a secluded car park, the walker will soon discover some of nature's ancient moorland. The route takes the walker on a journey past an ancient fort - that has seen two long periods of occupation - through extensive woodland and along the banks of the beautiful River Dart. Explore the sights and sounds of some of Dartmoor's wilderness before returning along ancient tracks to the car, feeling more relaxed and energised by being in a place of beauty.
