19/10/05 - Dave Faulkner. We did this walk over the Easter Break and would agree with the comments made by Heather. However, I think it is worth noting that the area in which the walk resides is very hilly and the walk starts with a fairly stiff climb. The height gain shown in the walk description is way off target. It states that the height gain is 100m - according to my GPS it was more like 600m which some subscribers might find useful.

I sent a message earlier about this walk but forgot to mention that when we came to the bit in the farmyard we think the gate may have been moved because the stream was before the gate. They are also doing some building work in the farmyard. picture no 534466 and 535466. Hope this is of use to you.

We stayed in the village of Berrynarbour and so started the walk from there. It was a beautiful day and one of the best walks I have done. Views were spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed it
