Bury Ditches is one of the best-preserved hill-forts in Central England. This short walk takes you through woodland on a roundabout ascent of the fort, before you climb up through the well-preserved ramparts to enjoy the magnificent views of the Shropshire countryside. It's not a long walk, but one that takes you back thousands of years and one on which a picnic seems almost compulsory to be enjoyed on the easily reached summit.
