This is a gem of a walk, with very good paths, no stiles and a pub en route: The Bull at Troston does not do food on Mondays.
St Mary's Church at Troston has ancient wall paintings as well as many other very interesting features.

The route is mainly tracks, a field edge and a short bit of road which connects.

A lovely walk with good directions. Don't waste time looking for The Royal Oak as a place to park or eat, it closed about 2007 and has since been converted into housing.
