This is a lovely little walk to while away an odd hour and it combines a short stroll along the Wharfe with a return on the Dales Way long-distance route. Even on the wet day on which I recorded it, the fields were full of flowers and there were birds and birdsong all around us. It would make a suitable addition to Walk 3279, after a rest. Were it not for the stiles on the second half I would have rated this as a Gentle Stroll.

A perfect walk exactly as described to while away an hour. The directions were perfect, the views were great and this was a very easy and definately rewarding walk to finish our week in Yorkshire. A full 10/10! Cheers Jim!
