This nearly flat walk starts from the town of Kidsgrove situated between Congleton and Stoke-on-Trent and goes to Alsager in Cheshire along the Trent & Mersey Canal. It returns via the pleasant Merelake Way, a former railway line converted into a walkway, then country paths and finally a short section of the Macclesfield Canal. It is a quiet, tranquil walk on little-used paths for all to enjoy.
