This pleasant five-mile walk is ideal for a morning, afternoon or after work stress-buster. It starts and ends in Knowle Solihull, whose high street boasts three pubs, a famous coffee chain, a famous seafood chain and numerous independent eateries, as well as a 600-year-old parish church.

We head for the canal, which we walk for about 2000m via some wonderful locks offering fantastic and unexpected views.
Leaving at King's Arms bridge, at a canalside pub which offers rooms, we head via pleasant fields and quiet roads and lanes back to the walk start.

Enjoyed this walk but did it in less than two hours. Really good instructions. Added a bit on the end by joining the canal and doing it in reverse. Rob and Chrissy 29/10/18
