A wonderful walk with lots of interesting information on the transhumance method of farming, the volcanic history of the island, the tapping of the pine trees for the valuable resin, the conservation of water, details of flora and fauna and fantastic views. Your track takes you through woods, gently across ravines and round pumping stations, with the most amazing views of the southern mountains. It is a well-marked track with information boards along the way.
