Las Tres Cruces – Calar de Juana

Once we have located the start, this fairly easy hike takes us through forests and wonderful mountainous countryside, eventually bringing us to the foot of the Calar de Juana.

A short ascent brings us to the summit of this open expanse of rocky ground, from which the views are amazing.

After our exploration of the calar, we follow the same route back, enjoying the scenery and abundant wildlife from a different perspective. On our way to the start or after the hike, we have the chance to visit the nacamiento del Guadalquivir (the birthplace of the important Guadalquivir River).
