We've been doing a lot of sub-four-mile walks recently so that we can take our eleven-year-old Collie Mitch with us. This is a lovely short walk across and around the perimeter of Warwickshire Golf Course. There are some historically significant monuments near this walk which are sadly not accessible to the public (but I've put them in the notes). The walk takes you through woods and across rolling fields from the pretty village of Leek Wooton and its 18th Century church.

Not sure why golfers get so annoyed when dogs try and help them gain an extra few yards by carrying their balls toward the green !! Lots of on lead walking on the golf course
