This is a varied walk around this hidden gem, through woods, quiet lanes and along Morecambe Bay's rich shore, with an ornithologist's dream near the end.

We struggled to find the correct car park to start this walk as the description says it's just north of the station. It's not. You need to walk north away from the station past the golf course and then walk down the first road on the left. The car park is down this road on the right. This is a tremendously varied walk and the directions for it are very accurate. It took us two and a half hours with a short break for a picnic near Jenny Brown's Point. Highly recommended.
