This circular walk lets you experience the hills around Brig o' Turk. A good path runs parallel with the road and leads to deciduous woodlands with birch, beech and oak-trees, then on a short steep climb on a good path to reach a viewpoint, from where there is a fantastic panorama of the surrounding countryside. As you contour round the hill towards Glen Finglas Reservoir, three lochs come into view. The area is dominated by imposing Ben Venue. When you return to the car park, walk a short distance up the Dam road and view the bicycle tree. This route is suitable for a large walking party.

Hi there, I did this walk on the the 13th May and really enjoyed it. Again the descriptions were spot on.

An excellent walk with precise descriptions of the on going views. The walk through the birch woods was very satisfying and eye pleasing. Overall a good walk.
