This circular walk starting in the heart of London is one not to be missed. There is so much to see and do along this route it will be hard to take it all in. If you want to shorten the walk, you are never far away from an underground station.

Starting from London Liverpool Street Station you follow a few roads to St Paul's Cathedral and from here you make your way to The Millennium Bridge and cross to walk along The South Bank. On this section are so many attractions and places to visit, including The London Eye and Sea Life, also with various food outlets. After crossing Westminster Bridge you walk through St James's Park before reaching Buckingham Palace and The Mall, then through Green Park to reach Hyde Park Corner and enter Hyde Park as you pass beside The Serpentine before reaching Kensington Gardens. After passing Kensington Palace you start the return journey, taking different routes back through the four royal parks.

From then on you will be following roads, passing through Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Covent Garden with its vast array of shops, restaurants and places to visit until you arrive at Drury Lane. From here you shortly join The Thames Path along Victoria Embankment before crossing Blackfriars Bridge and rejoining The South Bank, passing various outlets, pubs etc before reaching Tower Bridge. You then cross the bridge where with a short diversion you will get a chance to visit St Katherine's Dock before making your way back to the station via a few roads.

Apart from the attractions mentioned you will also pass The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Italian Fountains, The London Dungeons, The London Bridge Experience, the reconstruction of The Golden Hinde and Tower of London plus many more famous attractions. All in all this walk makes a perfect family day out.
