For five years a major mountainbike centre has been operating in Llandegla Forest. There is car parking, a cafe and toilets plus marked cycling and walking routes. I have selected what I thought were the best features from all four walking routes and put them into a rather circuitous walk that I am sure you will enjoy. There are no stiles at all and very little rough ground. The major hazard is the few (marked) places where the walking trails cross the bike trails.

An enjoyable walk along forest paths that shelter you from the elements. One or two spectacular views across the Dee Estuary towards Liverpool, and an excellent mug of tea at the Visitor Centre to round off a nice afternoon.
