This is an easy walk for half a day. The route is easy to follow and the paths good on the whole. There is quite a climb up to White Castle but the views are a good excuse for a rest. The views are across to the Welsh Mountains. White Castle is very well preserved.

Did this walk today and would just like to say that the start of the walk was incredibly hard going. The very first stile (by the lay-by) was overgrown, directions slightly misleading and the path leading to the lane was almost impossible to negotiate with a field of sweetcorn(?) on one side and shoulder high stinging nettles on the other. It would have been better to walk down the road until the sign to "Bont" came into view. The walk did improve after this point and White Castle was really lovely to explore.
