This is another of Wales' hidden gems. The nature reserve is rich in birdlife and also in butterflies. The heronry is very active and there are nests visible in the spring.

The River Teifi is quite near and a walk along the riverbank is rewarding. This can be reached by crossing the bridge at Waymark 02 and thus joining the riverbank walk.

Did this walk with our two border collies the day after it had rained heavily all day. Leather walking boots were required as it was quite wet in the meadows. The directions were accurate and all the styles were dog friendly. An enjoyable walk through a lovely nature reserve which I would recommend.
