This is a stunning linear walk. The lane approach is narrow, but the ' sheer drop 'mentioned is nothing unusual in North Wales, and simply requires slow and patient driving. There is a car park at the beginning of the trail and the honesty box expects three pounds to park. The area between markers two and three get little or no sun in the winter months and great care is required on the frosty / icy surfaces. The walk is mainly on rock, stone and you really do need to take this one slowly and steadily to avoid a fall. At the top you are rewarded with a stunning view amidst wild and remote scenery.Loved it. PS A clear sunny day walk does the magnificent scenery justice. Thanks to Pat for this absolute gem of a walk. Andy

Walked 20.08.2018 - This is a lovely walk right out in the wilds but with a good car park at the start. The road to the car park passes right on the edge of a sheer drop at points by the lake so you do have to be careful when driving. The walk starts through a lovely uphill section and then ascends into the hills with spectacular views. Try to do this on a good day, we had low cloud and rain and turned back halfway between section 2 and 3 due to poor visibility, still a great walk though! 10/10
