This delightful walk starts in the village of Long Compton and using a minor road, climbs up the main escarpment, from which there are outstanding views to the north. After a short distance on major roads, it starts on field-paths, eventually reaching the ancient Rollright Stones. The first is the Whispering Knights and then comes the main ring, known as the King's Men Stone Circle. A short detour can take you to the King Stone. After retracing some short distance the fields-paths descend to the hamlet of Little Rollright, where the church warrants a visit. From here climb using track and then minor road, before returning to Long Compton via field-paths.
