Long Compton - Cherington - Long Compton
This walk starts in Long Compton with its splendid church and lynch-gate and climbs by farm track past Long Compton Woods, reaching its highest point at Margett's Hill with excellent views towards Brailes and Ilmington Hills. Descent is to the picturesque village of Cherington and The Cherington Arms. Return is by short road and then long driveway up to Weston Park, again with excellent views. Finally, descent is a short distance down a quiet road back to Long Compton.
