A lovely way to stroll around a mixture of moorland and fields, with good views over Earby and Skipton, yet taking in the charms of the rural communities of Lothersdale and Earby, which nestle quietly in the valleys. The walk provides lovely contrasts whilst also giving fulfilling views. A word of warning though: better take a map, as the paths in the area are not always well-marked.

Did this walk today.Enjoyed it especially the first half however, at waypoint 15 we entered the field towards Ninevah farm but could not find anyway out of the field or waypoint 16. We walked back to the road, walked down it & re-joined the walk at waypoint 17. Did enjoy the walk but there is quite a lot of road walking that takes it out of your feet.

A very enjoyable walk ending in the Hare and Hounds in Lothersdale for a coffee. Easy to Navigate apart from Waymarker 16 where we too had difficulty where to go next.

We did this walk on Easter Sunday but as we were staying in Earby we started & returned to Earby. It was a really enjoyable walk but we had a problem finding a stile to the second part of the path at Ninevah farm at point 16 so we used the paths marked on the map and took a different footpath. Overall a very enjoyable walk with some great views.
