Although this is a short walk, it is classed as moderate because the descent from Waymarks 02 to 03 is fairly steep. The walk can still be enjoyed by anyone wishing to avoid this section, by leaving Lone Lane just after Waymark 01 and bearing left onto the old railway track. Keep with it for half a mile to reach the stile at Waymark 03. The walk is then flat through trees rich in wildlife and returns via the riverbank.
