A walk in the wonderful Cotswolds starting from the small and lovely village of Lyneham, to visit pretty Bledington with its beautiful church. A fine bridleway is taken on the edge of Bould to reach Bruerne Abbey, another tiny setting where there are marvellous Cotswold stone buildings, one of them the stately abbey. The River Evenlode is one of the attractive features of the route, along with the woodland areas, the natural beauty of the countryside, the interest of a working railway and a beautifully landscaped golf course.
