This short easy walk is full of interest as it takes the walker on the Gwent Levels. These are of great interest, as it is the only real fenland in the area. There are plenty of flowers and butterflies and in the winter it is a great place to see birds over-wintering. A map of the area will show that the walk can be extended on the many paths across the fields, following the network of reens that drain the low ground.
