This station to station walk starts in Manningtree, Eseex and terminates at Ipswich in Suffolk. The Essex section is only around 300 yards before you actually enter Suffolk. This is a beautiful walk, very quiet and serene once you enter the first field path. There are some lovely sections through woodland en-route and even the field paths have some great views. The Case is Altered pub in Bentley is only open a certain times, so if you want to visit, you will need to organise the route to coincide with their opening times.

All paths were nice and clear whilst preparing this walk in February, hardly any mud (makes a change). Upon Arrival at Ipswich you will get a chance to visit the town centre with its historic buildings and vast array of shops. You can also have a stroll along the marina with its amazing selection of yachts and boats and food outlets. All in all an ideal family walk.
