A circular walk on gravel tracks and forest rides throgh parts of the Crichel Estate, very quiet and relaxing, in the heart of the Dorset countryside. There is lots of wildlife to enjoy along the way, passing by or through coppices with romantic names such as Strawberry Coppice.

A great little walk, even for a sodden Christmas/New Year. The initial section of bridleway was muddy, but this soon gave way to wide gravel tracks and rolling views. Only the long, straight bridleway from WM11 was really difficult, so in the wet seasons I’d highly recommend continuing straight on to the road, turning left and following the quiet single track road back to the start point.

Lovely walk with lots of butterlies

A lovely walk, easy to follow and memorable because I saw more pheasants today and butterflies than I'd ever seen before!

Enjoyable walk, easy to follow guide. Nice spot half way round for a picnic.
