This walk is beside the River Thurne and starts at the Broads village of Martham and goes through another Broads village, West Somerton; the return route is along country lanes and footpaths. NB PLEASE SEE JOHN PUNTER'S COMMENT BEFORE DOING THIS WALK.

Completed walk Sunday 6 March. Part closed due to works on riverbank, but managed to bypass barriers (no workers present on Sundays). Just a minor point, if you don't want to visit the pub at "6" turn right immediately past seat under signpost between "5" and "6", into Common Road, thus cutting the corner off at a busy road which does not have an adequate footpath.
