From the pub at Mawnan Smith we follow the most delightful forest way which brings us down to the Helford River at Port Saxon, near Trebah Gardens. Now we follow the truly lovely coastal path as it meanders past Rosemullion Head, eventually bringing us to the popular beach resort of Maenporth. Next we head inland through a mixture of woods and open farming country to return all too soon to Mawnan Smith.

What a fantastic walk around some of Cornwall's gorgeous, rugged coastline, I can recommend a nice cold pint of cider at The Red Lion to finish!

Walked this today 28/08/20. What a lovely walk. The best walk of the week. The views along the coast path are stunning. We were lucky the weather was good so the clear blue sky really enhance the views. Thank you for publishing this walk we would never have found it without walking world.

Walked this on 10th June 2018. Good instructions, although the densely growing hedgerow made it tricky at times. Marvellous views along the coastal path. Recommend wearing walking boots as the surfaces can either be muddy, loose or are at times very uneven. Don't miss the turning at point 6 in Maenporth. It isn't obvious. The photo helped a lot as we spotted the garage building on the right. A good walk - quite a lot of ups and downs but the views were worth it! The Red Lion is worth a visit. Good beer (we tried Skinners).
