Millook Coast and Woodland

Leaving our car we briefly follow a quiet road. We pass through a farmyard and fields beyond before dropping down through woodland into a valley. Crossing the stream we follow a good dirt farm track along the valley, climbing high to join farmland again and views over the coast. Descending, we again go through woodland and ford a stream to join another farm track leading to the coast road. A few metres down the road we go onto the beach with the interesting geological strata in the cliffs.
After a rest and maybe a picnic, we return to the road for a way, before joining the coast path with its spectacular views. The coast path then takes us back to our transport.
