An exhilarating walk over high moorland countryside with a touch of Lake District-type scenery every so often and two pretty walks through woodland.
From Millthorpe the route goes over a pretty ford on the lane. Then the ground starts to rise. You next pass through a large, pleasant wood. This leads onto a lane. Turning right, the open moorland is passed through, then the route turns down a shallow, but pretty valley with Lake District qualities. At the other end, another attractive Lake District-type wood is passed through, then a short lane walk to Horsleygate. The path returns to the car afer passing through a small static caravan park.
