This is an easy walk on good paths most of the way, a family walk for all seasons. There is a steep ascent near the start and another short climb to reach the summit of Moredun Top, but the rest is easy walking. Most of the route is through mature mixed broadleaf and conifer woodland. The exposed Moredun Top provides panoramic views over the Tay and Earn Valleys.
