This walks starts north of Bracknell, easily reached from the M4 junction near Wokingham. It is 90% on paths and bridleways with just three short sections of roadway. It is a companion walk to 'Moss End – Warfield – Maiden's Green – Hawthorn Hill - Back' - (Walk 6797), but goes south and clockwise, rather than north and anticlockwise!

A very well-described route, with some agreeable walking, especially during the first and last half-hours. The busy roads at 8 & 12 are not particularly pleasant, albeit you are walking safely on pavement. The stretch of lane besides the sewage works was surprisingly malodorous and, unlike the smell, we didn't linger.
