Setting off from the car park just up the lane from Mullion Cove, we walk down the lane briefly before climbing up the coastal path to reach Mullion Cliff, with splendid views down on Mullion and the spectacular coastline around us. Now it is simply a matter of enjoying the pathway as we head southwards, passing through the beautiful Lizard Natural Reserve. There are a few steepish ups and downs as we negotiate the various coves and eventually we descend into the Soap Rock Valley (see additional information). NB: there is an option to reduce the walk by some 4km whilst on the coastal path phase and this is described in the walk description at the appropriate point. We leave the coastal path here and head inland up a valley to pass Jolly Town Cottages (see additional information) and then continue inland to near Predannack Airfield (see additional information). We now begin walking NW parallel to the airfield perimeter as we make our way to the farms at Predannack Wollas (from where this walk could be begun as an alternative to Mullion Cove). From the farms the final stretch takes us northwards through timeless Cornish countryside until we drop down on a track which rejoins the Mullion Cove lane and the car park.

Nice walk completed on 7/8/19.I started this from Waymark 14 as there was a campsite just up the road. There was some lovely views from the coast path after the climb out of Mullion Cove. The descent at waymark 6 can be a bit of a scramble now due to foot traffic and erosion.
