This walk starts by going up the Murieston Valley to Campbridge Park with its pond. It returns downstream on a picturesque path by the water. It then crosses into Linhouse Wood, which has a sense of being remote, only spoiled by the proximity of an electrified railway. It passes briefly through part of Calderwood Country Park, which prides itself as being largely left to nature. The final section rejoins the scenic Murieston Water riverside path to Livingston South Station.
