Newport Pagnell - Hanslope Park - Gayhurst - Newport Pagnell
Never more than a mile from the M1, this surprisingly quiet and pleasant circular walk takes one through woodlands and open country. For the birdwatchers out there, the early part of the walk passes between lakes formed after gravel extraction and one may see not only swans and several types of geese, but possibly one or two little egrets. There is limited parking available in Lakes Lane, about 100 metres before the start.
