Ninewells - Woodside - Catbrook - Cleddon Falls - Ninewells

Cleddon Bog Nature Reserve is well worth a visit, as it is home to many bog plants as well as birds. The walk passes the edge of the bog before entering Ninewell Woods and following across to Catbrook. There are good views across to the Welsh mountains on this stretch. After leaving Catbrook (Waymark 07) to cross the fields there are extensive views across the River Severn and over to the Cotswolds. Cleddon Shoots Nature Reserve is always worth a visit, particularly after heavy rain.

Hi there, the Morse family extremely enjoyed this walk today. There is till no sign post for car park - this made it very difficult to find the start of the walk. Once we got going it was fun following the paths and my chidren enjoyed going over the stone stiles looking at fantastic scenery. The village of Catbrook is well worth a visit and on return Cleddon Falls is spectacular but both the falls and Cleddon Shoot are very steep - you can if you want descend these paths down into Llandogo. There is a nice little pub at the bottom for a well earned drink, ready for the teck back to the car park.
